BOARD-TRAC AFFORDABLE PRICING PLAN At Board-Trac we recognize that times are tough. In fact, we hear about it every day though our relationships with consumers, specialty retailers and brands. However, during tough times, companies typically pull back on their marketing and promotional spend, including budgets to obtain the research and insights to keep them relevant and competitive within the market. We understand that having the information to help you do a better job is important, but sometimes it just comes down to affordability, not the desire. Therefore, as a true partner to the specialty retailers and brands within the action sports industry, Board-Trac is launching its own affordable, value pricing plan. For a short time, Board-Trac is significantly reducing the cost of its research. Our goal is to make it more affordable for you to purchase the research you need and want to help you maintain and build your business. |

2009 Size of Market Trend Reports The 2009 Size of Market Trend Report is a comprehensive view of a category based on self-reported data from Board-Trac’s annual studies. Each report provides market facts for the specific sport including demographic profiles and an overview of the 5-19 year old population in the United States and how those age segments influence participation. Estimated retail sales including total dollar volume (retail) for 2009, units sold and average price for hardgoods, softgoods, shoes and accessories are presented in two charts – one reflects spending by active participants and the second reflects spending by not-so-active or passive participants. Estimated retail sales from 2001 to 2009 is charted from data on spending for a variety of hardgoods and softwoods associated with each sport. Profiles of the 2009 participants include overall participation, spending habits by channels of distribution, and a demographic overview of participation by age, by age segmentation, gender and cross over sports participation.
